Our community

Our community is a place where people help us. Our school is part of our communty we went on a trip around the school! We saw many different people that help us.

Our Dance Party

Students worked hard to make their classroom snowman. They learned that we need a hat, scarf, mittens and a coat. We had music and movement to get us in the spirit of winter. We also had Nursery 1 come to our class to have a winter party. We read a book about our snowman, snowy,  and we had yummy hot chocolate. We were so excited to have our Nursery 1 friends join us. We sang and danced together.

Snow

Snow is part of winter and in our opinion it's the best part. We made a science experiments by making our own snow. Each student had instant snow and they poured water on it. When they touched it, it was cold and soft. Just like real snow. It was snowing outside and Morah put real snow in our sensory table.

Winter

We have been learning about winter and things we can make make outside. We created an addition to our classroom.  Snowy! Snowy the snowman is on our wall.  We also made him little snowmen to keep him company. We reinforced the sequencing numbers and reinforcing the recognition of shapes. Students had to use their imagination and create their own snowman.

First Day Back!

We have been patiently waiting for school  to start have fun with out friends. Let me tell you the reunion is was a terrific sight. Our academic focus today was learning about the shape - star and we reviewed the number 3.
